Collections

Displays  depict  circa  1900-1940  farming,  processing, and daily life in support of the industry. Major exhibits include vineyard farm equipment, very early wine and grape processing machinery, local related history displays, home life depictions, interior barn decor, one room school house setting, village general  store,  soda  shop, barber shop, train station, and memorabilia from various wineries and fruit processors.

    General Store

    The General store was the social hub for all activity in a small town. You could buy just about anything there, get your mail, or make a phone call.

      The Soda Shop

      Every town had a soda shop where folks could hang out, listen to music, play games, and cool off with a great malt or cone.

        The Town Barber Shop

        At the towns barber shop most of the world's problems were debated, baseball games critiqued, politicians demeaned, and off color jokes snickered at.

          The Farm and the Processor

          Shown in this photo are 2 items from local wineries of years past including a mural and a corner stone from 2 Paw Paw wineries no longer in operation.
